Join us!

Call for participation: Open as of December 2022

Do you have experience or interest in text mining, modeling, or creating interactive games?

Do you know how to sissy that walk, or would you like to learn?

Please reach out to us to discuss how you can get involved. We’re also looking into thematic analysis through qualitative coding methods, visual analysis about body image and gender expression, and comparative language analysis against source texts like Paris Is Burning (1990).

BUT! We’re excited to speak with you about your ideas, the tools you use, and the questions you have that this dataset might help answer.

Or, just use the data set! We don’t have a suggested citation for this page, but we recommend you cite the datasets collected here directly. If you have data to add, please reach out to us!

Process Updates

Next Steps: Our plan

Now that we’ve built out a prototype, we hope to increase our analytic power by bringing other interested parties with digital skills into the project to play with the data we’ve collected, use the process we’ve created on other seasons, and generate novel datasets about future seasons.
